OVERVIEW

Everest Short Trek is an ideal trip to have a majestic view of Mt. Everest in the shortest period. For those travelers who would like to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site listed, Sagarmatha National Park within a short period.

This trek is comparatively short but easily takes you to the heart of the Himalayas. It Offers the view of the world’s highest peak Mt. Everest along with other peaks.

Our Short trek starts with the scenic 35 min flight towards Lukla. Lukla is also the gateway of Everest region treks. After landing we’ll meet our porter who will carry purr luggage. Then we’ll descend to the Dudh Koshi River while crossing few suspension bridges.

On our next day, we’ll pass several Sherpa villages along and after 2 hours we’ll ascend towards Phakding. Now our trail leads us through Sagarmatha National Park and then Namche Bazaar.

Our next day starts with the hike up to the Everest View lodge which offers views like Mount Everest, Lhotse, Thamserku, Ama- Dablam, Nuptse, and many others. This moment would be once in a lifetime for you.

Now we’ll descend to Namche Bazaar walking through the Syangboche airport. At last, we’ll enjoy the scenic mountain flight towards Kathmandu from Lukla.

Itinerary

DAY 01

Arrival at Kathmandu and Evening welcome Dinner

As you land at TIA Kathmandu airport our representative member will wait for you with a playing card. Then you’ll be transferred to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 02

Flight to Lukla (2,642m/ 8,668ft) and trek to Phakding (2,562m/ 8,700m): 35min flight, 8km, 3-4 hrs trek

After having breakfast, we’ll have our early morning flight towards Lukla. After landing we’ll meet our porter and start our trek towards the north to the Phakding.

DAY 03

Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m), 5-6 hrs

After having breakfast our trek starts towards the sherpa’s village Namche Bazaar. After crossing multiple suspension bridges we’ll ascend to the Namche. Overnight at Namche Bazaar.

DAY 04

Namche Bazaar - Day Hike ( Everest View Hotel and Khumjung/Khunde)

We’ll have our early hike up towards Everest View Hotel above Namche. From Everest View Hotel we can enjoy the panoramic view of the Himalayas including Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. Then we’ll descend back to Namche where we’ll enjoy our night.

DAY 05

Namche to Lukla (2800m) 7-8 hrs

After having a delicate breakfast at Namche we’ll now descend to Lukla. Our trail continues along the Dudh Koshi River and finally a small mountain airstrip at Lukla. Overnight at Lukla.

DAY 06

Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu (35 min)

After breakfast, we’ll have our early flyover towards Kathmandu. After landing at Kathmandu you’ll be transferred to the hotel. You can spend your leisure time exploring the vibrant markets.

DAY 07

Transfer to Airport for your onward destination

A representative member will pick you up from the hotel and you’ll be dropped at Tribhuvan International Airport for your return flight.
