Best Time to Visit For Short ABC Trek

During these seasons, the sky is clear, and visibility is high, particularly in autumn, which is also the best time for photography. However, expect more crowds during peak season. Stable weather conditions during these seasons make them ideal for trekking, as the temperature is typically suitable, enabling individuals to take on the trek without worrying about the weather.
The pre-monsoon season is another great time to visit the trek. Although the weather is still mild, the vegetation’s new growth provides a slightly different scenery, and the rains make the trails more enjoyable. On the other hand, the monsoon season (June to August) is not recommended for trekking due to the muddy trails, obstructed views, and potential landslides.
Those who are looking for an off-season trek can also opt for the winter months (November/February), although the temperatures can be quite cold. While clouds and snow might block the views, this is still an excellent option for those looking to enjoy the beauty of the mountains in a less crowded environment.
In any season, the Short ABC Trek is sure to be an amazing experience. The views, the trekking, and the overall atmosphere make it a great choice for anyone looking to explore the beauty of the Himalayas.

Itinerary
The first day of our Short Annapurna Trek will begin with a long drive in a Tourist Bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara. We will follow the Prithvi Highway, which will take us along the Trisuli River for the first half of the journey.
This scenic drive will take us approximately 7-8 hours and will be a great introduction to the beauty of the Annapurna Region. Once we get to Pokhara, we will have time to explore the city before staying overnight in a comfortable hotel room.
We will begin our trek by making our way from Nayapul to Jhinu Danda. The trek is estimated to take us five hours, with a 1 and half hour drive from Pokhara to Nayapul which leaves us plenty of time to take in the beautiful scenery of the Annapurna region.
We will pass through many villages such as Birethanti, Siwai, Kyumi & Jhinu. During the day we will also pass over several suspension bridges, as well as several streams. Finally, we will reach Jhinu Danda where we will take a much needed break in the natural hot springs located next to the Modi River. After taking a dip and enjoying the hot springs, we will spend the night at Jhinu Danda.
We’ll start our trek from Jhinu Danda to the villages of Sinuwa and Choomrong which will take us around 5-6 hours. The journey will take us through a series of amazing villages, lush jungles, cascading waterfalls and beautiful bamboo forests. The trekking trail is quite steep and requires a good level of physical fitness. After a few hours of walking, we will reach Sinuwa, a popular village in the region.
Here, we will be able to explore the local culture, try typical Nepalese delicacies, and enjoy the beautiful views. Afterwards, we will continue your journey to Choomrong, one of the biggest villages in the region. Here, we will find the sacred Modi Khola River and perhaps the most spectacular views of the Annapurna Massif. Finally, you will reach Bamboo, a charming village surrounded by mountains and panoramic views.
Today we’ll start our journey from Bamboo after a nice breakfast, and trek for 4 to 5 hours towards our destination Deurali. We'll start trekking through a dense bamboo forest, and as we get closer to the Himalaya, the forest will start getting thinner, and we'll be able to see the glacial river below. We'll pass through a challenging forest trail from Hinku Cave to reach Deurali, a tranquil village with plenty of teahouses and lodges to relax in.
The most scenic part of our trekking journey will be from Hinku Cave to Deurali, with ascending trails offering breathtaking views of the valley and rocky cliffs with small waterfalls. We'll see how the vegetation lessens with altitude, and we'll be able to enjoy the peaceful trail before finally reaching Deurali for Overnight.
Today is the day we have been eagerly waiting for! After having breakfast in Deurali, we'll start trekking towards Annapurna Base Camp. The trek will take us around 5 to 6 hours, and we'll walk uphill past the Annapurna Massif, which will offer us breathtaking views of snowy peaks.
We'll be trekking to higher altitudes, so we'll take it slow and steady. After reaching Machhapuchhre Base Camp, we'll have lunch and take a break for acclimatization. From there, we'll see incredible views of the Machhapuchhre Himal, Mardi Himal, Mt. Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, and more. We'll continue our climb to Annapurna Base Camp, where we'll spend the night in a cozy lodge and enjoy the breathtaking views of several himalayas.
Today, we start our day with a beautiful sunrise view over the glistening peaks of Annapurna. The 360-degree view of himalayas looks mesmerizing at the time of sunrise. We can see all the peaks like Mardi Himal, Machhapuchhre, Annapurna III, Gangapurna, Singu Chuli, Khangsar Kang, Annapurna I, Hiunchuli and Annapurna South, and the view is just out of the world.
After soaking in the beautiful view, we'll trek back to Sinuwa. We'll bid goodbye to the enthralling views of white Himalayas and trek back via Machhapuchhre Base Camp, Deurali, Himalaya, Dobhan, and Bamboo. As we trek through these settlements, we'll have opportunities to interact with the locals and learn about their culture, way of life, traditions, and religions. After hours of trekking, we'll finally reach Sinuwa, where we'll spend the night.
We will start the day with a delicious breakfast in Sinuwa before embarking on our journey towards Nayapul. The first stop will be the charming Chhomrong village, which we will reach after descending from Sinuwa.
From Siwal, we will follow the trekking trail towards Birethanti before finally reaching Nayapul, where we will catch a bus to the beautiful city of Pokhara. You can choose to stay overnight in Pokhara or head back to Kathmandu either by flight or bus on the same day.
After 7 days of exploring the incredible beauty of the Annapurna region, the time has come for us to say goodbye and return to Kathmandu. Our bus journey from Pokhara to Kathmandu is sure to be a long and scenic one following the same route we came from.
We’ll be traveling for 7-8 hours in a bus, making stops along the way for refreshments and snacks, thus breaking up the long drive. The drive will be no less than a picturesque journey of scenic beauty and stunning views. The roads will be full of vibrant colors, weaving through lush green valleys, terraced fields, and quaint villages. We’ll also get to experience the diverse culture, tradition and cuisine of the region during our stops.
This full-day drive is the perfect way to end our Short Annapurna Trek. It will give us a chance to look back on all the amazing experiences we had, while also giving us a glimpse of the beauty of the country that we had missed out on our trek. It will be an amazing way to say goodbye to Nepal and the Himalayas.
