Overview

Incredible Mardi Himal Trek is arranged only east of a standout amongst the most famous climbing goal of Nepal, the Annapurna Base Camp trek. Mardi Himal trek is a shrouded pearl yet. Hardly any trekkers procure their way into the Mardi Himal Base Camp exceptionally situated in the base of Mardi Himal and the Annapurna region’s notorious mount Machapuchhre truly meaning “Fishtail”.

The street goes along little twisting trails, through charming rhododendron woods when you move around 3,300 meters. The scene changes abruptly to a rough high mountain scene, with stunning perspectives of Mardi Himal, Machapuchre, Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli.

From Top Camp (3580 m; a couple of maps wrongly specify 3900 m) you can scale around Mardi Himal Base Camp in roughly 3-4 hours. Additionally, this gives a stunning close-up perspective of the entire Annapurna Range. You will discover simple guesthouses and homestays over the entire course.

Getting There

There are few routes that lead to Mardi Himal base camp, where our trek follows on normal route within the cool serene forest of tall rhododendrons, pines, and fir tree lines with sweeping views of Annapurna, Manaslu, and Machhapuchare peaks.

As the walk continues after driving from scenic Pokhara city heading into high cooler hills and villages of Dhampus and Potana the adventure diverts from the main trekking trails towards the high Mardi Himal and its base camp. It is the highest point of the journey with outstanding views of the surrounding beautiful scenery of the mountain range.
