Pashupatinath Temple
Pashupatinath Temple is the center point of Hinduism in Nepal, a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva, located in Kathmandu. The temple is built on the Bagmati River bank and is considered one of Nepal’s most sacred and spiritually powerful Hindu temples. It is listed under UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
The main attraction of Pashupatinath Temple lies in its unique architecture and design. It has six floors and several shrines dedicated to different deities such as Shiva, Vishnu, Surya, Parvati, and Indra. The main temple in Pashupatinath area has four silver doors in the four directions under a purely golden roof and pinnacle.
There are temples of other Gods and Goddesses as well. Many meditating areas are there. The deep meditation around the Pahsupatinath area is believed to awaken the spiritual energy and inner illumination in a human. There’s a traditional cremation place as well, called ‘Aryaghat’. Sandhya Aarati is a special thing to experience in the evening.
Boudhanath Stupa
Boudhanath Stupa is a very popular pilgrimage site in Kathmandu. The main attraction of the stupa is its gold and silver dome, which has been compared to the pyramids of Giza. The stupa was built as a place of worship for bodhisattvas (Buddhist saints). It is also listed under UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
The stupa and surrounding monastery is home to an impressive array of Buddhist scriptures and artworks, including statues of Buddha and his disciples. There are also large murals depicting scenes from the life of Buddha. Lamas study around the area, the prayer flags and prayer wheels flourish the message for world’s peace and harmony in the air.
Kathmandu Durbar Square
The Kathmandu Durbar Square is also a UNESCO World Heritage site, and it’s easy to see why this is a stunningly beautiful and peaceful area. The square was built as a royal palace and has been used for various purposes throughout history. Today, it’s home to many museums, including the National Museum, which displays artifacts, old stone inscriptions, sculptures, statues etc. from all over Nepal and many other cultural institutions.
In addition to these historical sites, there are many other things to see at Kathmandu Durbar Square from shopping opportunities to food vendors and even an aquarium! It is one of the places around which you can shop everything and anything you want. There are number of artists and content creators, who chose to shoot their contents here as the place is highly aesthetic.
Swayambhunath
Swayambhunath is where most Buddhist pilgrims visit with millions of tourists every year. This place is located at the top of a hillock in Kathmandu. It is believed to be the holiest site alongside Boudhanath compared to other Buddhist holy expedition sites in Kathmandu valley.
The devotees of Tibetan Buddhism – Bouddha at first – have coined this place as ‘the most authentic Buddhist place.’ The site comprises numerous temples, shrines, monasteries, and a library, the one highlight being Natural History Museum. This place is regarded as one of the better viewpoints of the city too.
Nagarkot
Nagarkot is a hill station around the Kathmandu city. It is located at an altitude of more than 2,175 m and has excellent views of the surrounding hills, majestic mountains and lush valleys. The town of Nagarkot is considered as one of the favorite destinations amongst visitors because of its natural beauty, breathtaking views and wonderful climate.
It’s on the highest point of the valley, surrounded by rolling hills filled with lush vegetation. There are many places to hike, or you can just relax in one of the many tea shops that line the road to Nagarkot. City dwellers generally impose a ‘party destination’ tag on this place.
Bhaktapur Durbar Square
Bhaktapur Durbar Square is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The square is home to some of the finest examples of Nepali art and architecture, from temples to palaces. There are several different retro styles of a temple here, but all have a certain charm that makes them stand out from other buildings in the country.
This ancient Durbar Square is where you will find some of the best examples of Nepalese architecture and craftsmanship at work. It’s also home to various shops, restaurants, cafes, and much more! 55 windowed palace, Nyatapole temple, Bhairava temple, Vatsala temple, Lion’s gate, the Art Gallery, etc. are some of the major attractions.
Additionally, Bhaktapur specially this place is famous for Curd. The local curd called ‘Ju Ju Dhau’ is a must try food. Other newari food items too are very popular and special overall the country.
Patan Durbar Square
Patan Durbar Square is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most famous sites in Kathmandu. The square was built as a royal residence, which has been transformed into a bustling market and religious center today.
Several palaces, temples, and buildings surround the square, and monuments are still used today for religious ceremonies. Patan Durbar Square is an open area where you can find shops, restaurants, and cafes. Many small restaurants serve delicious food from all over Nepal. Krishna Mandir, Bhimsen Temple, Vishwanath Temple, Taleju Bhawani Temple, etc., are the major highlights of the place.
In the Pimbahal area, chips and wafers are popular ones. It is also a must recommended for rejoice Nepali street food. If time favors, we’ll stop by the Budhanilkantha temple in Narayanthan at the end of the day.
You’ll start your adventure by driving up to the river, where an experienced guide will help you board your raft. You’ll then be led downriver by the current, which is strong but not dangerous. After an hour or so of paddling and relaxing in your raft, you’ll be able to take photos before returning to shore. (RAFTING IS TOTALLY OPTIONAL, & EXCLUDED FROM THE COST)
You’ll get on 2 hour scenic drive to Chitwan following lunch. Upon arriving in Chitwan, you can check in at the hotel and rest for a while. Later that evening, a cultural program will be portrayed by the Tharu stick dance. Chitwan is also home to the Tharu people. Their culture is fascinating and worth exploring.
Chitwan National Park is an amazing place to explore. You can hike through the jungle, enjoy a boat ride on the river, or just chill out in one of the park’s beautiful gardens.
The day begins with a jungle safari into the national park wilderness. Soon after, you can visit the crocodile breeding center, where you can see how they are trained and kept. Afterward, head to the elephant conservation area, where you’ll learn about how they are raised in captivity. After that, you’ll go out into the forest for bird watching or nature walks.
Later in the day, it’s time to head to the amazing city of lakes, Pokhara, on a drive.
(Note: You can extend your trip to Nepal in case you want to explore more. Instead of heading to Pokhara from Chitwan, you have a choice to visit Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha. For this, it requires two additional days, so the trip leads to Pokhara.)
On your sixth day, we will take you sightseeing in Pokhara. Early in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel and drive to Sarangkot, located on top of a hill overlooking Pokhara Valley. Here you can enjoy the sunrise from Sarangkot. Those who love adventure can sign up for paragliding. And then we will take you boating in Phewa Lake and visit Tal Barahi temple.
After this short break, we head towards Gupteshwor Mahadev cave and Davis Falls. Soon enough, you’ll visit World Peace Pagoda. It is located on a hill and offers an enormous view of Pokhara. And thus, this marks the end of the tour in Pokhara.
Phewa Lake (Fewa Lake)
Fewa Lake is Pokhara’s one of the most crowd puller. It gives the stunning and very clear reflections of Mount Annapurna and Mount Machhapuchhre. Mt. Machhapuchhre is also called Fishtail Mountain. People enjoy boating on and around the lake.
The boats are very colorful, made up of wood and it costs some fee to boat. The area surrounding the lake is called Lakeside. The nightlife around the lakeside is country famous. Street foods are available, many cafes and restaurants serves excellent cuisine with majestic vibes. Pokhara’s nightclubs are popular too.
It is a very lively place for foreigners especially. The concerts and music shows happen regularly around the lakeside. At the very center, there lies Tal Barahi temple, where Hindu shrine are perfectly reflected. People go there by boat.
Sarangkot
Sarangkot is a hillstation in Pokhara. It is also called the viewpoint of Pokhara famous for its picturesque sunrise and spectacular sunset views. The golden rays hits the ranges of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Mountain. It’s a famous destination for paragliding. People generally short hike to Sarangkot.
Devi’s Fall (Patale Chhango) & Gupteshwor Cave
Devi’s Fall also known as Patale Chhango in Nepali as it is a thin waterfall with stunning glimpse and very refreshing splashes. Near to it there is Gupteshwor Cave which is a very hole limestone cave. Inside there is a temple built devoted to Lord Shiva.
World Peace Pagoda (Peace Stupa)
The World Peace Pagoda (Peace Stupa) is a fairly white stupa nestled on the hillside, offering stunning views of whole Pokhara valley, Fewa Lake, and majestic mountains. This stupa was built to promote peace actually. People meditate here and photograph the views from here. Visitors can short hike upto here. The Sublime an peaceful atmosphere and stunning views makes it very spiritually energized site.
You can bungee jump when visiting Kushma. Our tour company will cover the bungee jumping expense. However, it costs $15 to film a video. On the other hand, you can pay extra to partake in other adventurous activities like the adrenaline swing as well.
Kushma has the world’s second highest bungee jumping of 228 meters as well. Additionally, Kushma has the world’s highest swing too. After completing the enjoyment, you’ll be driven back to Pokhara for the night’s stay.

The ninth day will mark the end of your journey to Nepal for Nepal tour. You will be assisted with shoppings and requirements , time being in concern. Drop to Airport before 3 hours of your original flight time and we bid you a very good bye with traditional farewell rituals from Nepal.
