You will take your flight from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu in the morning. When you reach Lhasa, you will be directly transferred into a renowned hotel, Check in and make the rest of the day useful to acclimatize, because you have flown from 1300 m to 3650+ m within couple of hours. So, acclimatization is very essential.
When you are done with your breakfast, you will set out to visit important places of Lhasa. You will spend you whole second day at Lhasa sightseeing the city and various tourism destinations majorly Potala Palace. Potala Palace is a significant palace that used to be the residence of the Great Dalai Lama which is built on the top of a singular hill. Then, you will visit Norbulingka Park which in english means The park of Treasure. This is the artificial garden made by men, and is bigger than any other. You will overnight rest at the hotel and get ready for the next day.
When you are done with your breakfast, you will set out to visit other remaining important places of Lhasa. Sightseeing at Sera monastery, another beautiful Jokhang Monastery of Old Lhasa, busy and bustling Barkhor Bazaar. The bazaar is the social environmental center of the Barkhor street, which remains very busy with Tibet dwellers and monks / nuns. Sera monastery is still prevented, but once destroyed by the Chinese invasion on Lhasa, Tibet. Transferred to hotel after the completion of second day and overnight stay at the hotel.
A beautiful short drive to a great and one of the Gelung university monastery, Ganden Monastery. You will kick your day off with a visit o such peaceful and majestic Ganden Monastery. You can meditate around for spiritual awakening and explore peaceful energy sphere. You can visit Drepung monastery and Tibetan Museum on the same day. You can set out to shop for your family, and needs. You can evening walk and try some best cuisine around. Overnight stay at the hotel and rest in.
This is the terminating day for the High road tour to Lhasa from Kathmandu. An early morning flight will take you to Kathmandu from Lhasa. If you get some time before your departure to home or any other scheduled activity in Nepal, we will take you to Sightseeing tour to Kathmandu city, its day and afternoon life, guide you through shopping and other places. For your departure, prior to 3 hours of your flight we will drop you to the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), and bid a formal nepali traditional way of good bye.
