Overview
Shivapuri Hiking is a perfect close hiking point of Kathmandu valley. It is a one day hiking destination which takes nearly 8 hours go and back. From the top of Shivapuri, the magnificent view of Langtang Range, Ganesh Himal, Dorji Lakpa, and Jugal Himal can be observed.
Shivapuri hiking point is located at Shivapuri and Nagarjuna National Park which is one of the major water resource of people living in Kathmandu Valley. Indeed, Shivapuri Hill is a highest hill station of Kathmandu valley after Fulchowki.
The hike starts and ends from/at Budhanilkanth. The place is 30 minutes far from Thamel, Kathmandu by driving.
