Chisapani Nagarkot Hiking

the capital city of Nepal is Kathmandu. This trek also starts from the short road trip Sundarijal from Kathmandu. Actually, this trek starts after you enter Shivapuri National Park from Sundarijal. This national park is recently built in Nepal. After 5-6 hours trek from Sundarijal through a huge forest you will reach Chisapani.

This trek can be conducted or practiced at any time of the year. In Sundarijal you can see an amazing waterfall and this place is also a famous picnic spot. After a night stay at Chisapani, you will trek towards Nagarkot which is very famous for eye-catching views of the sunrise and sunset. Nagarkot is at the hight of 2211meter above the sea level. You can see many high mountains like Annapurna, Langtang, Gauri Shankar, Ganesh Himal, Dorje Lakpa, etc.

You can visit the Changunarayen temple which is listed in the UNESCO world heritage sites. This temple was initially built in the 4th century during the Lichhavi Dynasty. It is said that this double roofed temple is dedicated to Lord Bishnu.  This trek is best to see nature and its beauty in a short period of time. Though this trek is practiced for a short period the experience you will get from this trek will remain with you for a lifetime.
