Annapurna Base Camp Short Trek begins with a scenic drive or flight towards Pokhara. Again we’ll have a drive towards Nayapul from where our trek begins. The trail crosses through different historical villages, terraced farms, Rivers. As you cross the famous Ghandruk village you will pass by Chhomrong.

Annapurna Base Camp Short Trek Short Itinerary:
Day 01: Drive from Pokhara to siwai, trek to Chhomrong (2,050m/ 6,725ft), 5-6hrs
Day 02: Trek from Chhomrrong to Himalaya (2500m/ 8,202ft), 6-7hrs
Day 03: Trek from Himalayan to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) via MBC (4,130m/ 13,539ft), 5-6hrs
Day 04: Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Sinuwa (2,250m/ 7,381ft), 5-6hrs
Day 05: Trek from Sinuwa to Siwai, drive from Siwai to Pokhara (8,20m/2,690ft), 5-6hrs
Day 06: Drive back to Kathmandu from Pokhara
After having breakfast at Pokhara we’ll have a scenic drive to Siwai. From Siwai we will enter the Annapurna Conservation Area (ACAP). Now our first trek starts through the beautiful Gurung villages of Chhomorong, across the suspension bridges, and walks through the meadows, yak pastures, farmlands, and vertical local villages. Finally, after reaching Chhomrong we’ll have our overnight.
Today our journey descends via a stone staircase to the Chhomrong River. After having a steep climb we reach Simwa dada and have a hike through the dense forest. We’ll now finally reach Himalaya. Overnight at Himalaya.
This is one of the exciting trekking days of our journey which takes us to the base camp of Mount Annapurna. The hike from Machhapuchare Base Camp (MBC) to Annapurna Base Camp takes about 4 hours in total.
In the morning we’ll enjoy a 360-degree snow-capped mighty mountain view. Now we’ll gradually descend through the dazzling villages and farmlands of the Everest region. After reaching Sinuwa we’ll enjoy our night.
After having a delicious breakfast at Sinuwa we’ll now descend to Siwai. After trekking for 2 hours we’ll now take a local jeep/taxi or bus. After reaching Pokhara you can have a rest at the hotel or enjoy the nightlife of Pokhara.
Today is the final day of the journey where we’ll get back to Kathmandu. In the evening you can enjoy the traditional and cultural and through the farewell dinner at one of the best restaurants.
