Info Nepal Tours & Treks began in 2013 in a small office in Thamel, started by a handful of guides who had spent years working for other companies and wanted to do it more honestly. The idea was simple: pay the crew fairly, tell trekkers the truth about costs and conditions, and treat every guest like a friend visiting our home.
Thirteen years on, we are still based in the same neighbourhood, still answering our own phones, and still walking the trails ourselves. We have grown to a team of more than forty guides and porters, but the promise has not changed.

How we got here
Founded in a small Thamel office by a group of guides who were tired of trekkers being overcharged and under-cared-for.
Registered with the Government of Nepal (Regd. No 198664/075/076) and the Nepal Tourism Board; first international group departures.
Opened UK and Australia contact lines so travellers could plan in their own time zone, with the same local crew on the ground.
Awarded a TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice for consistently high reviews across Everest and Annapurna trips.
40+ guides and porters, treks in every major region of Nepal, and expeditions extending into Tibet and Bhutan.
