The adventure begins with exciting overland on the busy and interesting Nepal main highway then diverts towards the Annapurna Circuit route at Besisahar town, around low warm areas of Nepal Mid-West where the walk follows the raging Masrsyangdi River upstream towards higher hills.

Walking around nice villages with fabulous views of Manaslu and Annapurna peaks to reach Dharapani village unto Chame a large town and headquarters of Manang district where the air gets much cooler with close mountain views.

The journey continues heading into lovely alpine woodland of tall rhododendron and pines trees with a climb and descends to enter beautiful Manang valley at Pisang village where you will soak within views of the high peaks of Annapurna and Chulus with Pisang peak.

From Pisang onward within the scenic Manang high valley encircled by high peaks, a walk leads to visit the interesting monastery of Braga and then reaching at main Manang village with rest days for acclimatization and to explore local villages of an immense culture of colorful Buddhist heritage.

After a pleasant and wonderful time at Manang walk leads to the remote west close to a mountainous area with the climb to the high Thorang-la pass at 5,416 m facing breath-taking scenery of surrounding landscapes and giant peaks.

Enjoying super views descend to Mustang area at Muktinath a holy pilgrimage spot for Hindus with views of Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri’s a nice village within a weather-beaten country where the adventure leads to wide Kaligandaki River valley to Jomsom, a headquarters town of Mustang area and the hub for Thakali people a tribe of Kaligandaki valley.

The journey continues following the Burigandaki River downstream to a lower warm area after going through the world’s deepest gorge Kaligandaki River, sandwiched between the giant peaks of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna.

Fascinating scenery with a great change in altitude and landscapes on reaching Tatopani village a place with natural hot spring, as the village called Tatopani means hot water in Nepalese.

A perfect place to enjoy refreshing moments before heading back to cooler high hills at Ghorepani a village located in the midst of a rhododendron forest famous for Poon Hill where a short hike takes you early morning for spectacular sunrise views over an array of Mid and Western Himalaya peaks.

Slowly our adventure comes to an end with a much downhill walk to reach the end of our trekking at Bhirethati village where a short drive takes you to the beautiful city of Pokhara, a leading and renowned tourist place in the whole Himalayas.

A wonderful place Pokhara is blessed with mountains and lakes where our amazing experience and adventure Annapurna circuit concludes with grand memories of high hills and mountains of Nepal’s high Mid-West Himalayas.

Best Seasons for Annapurna Circuit Trek

From March to May and September to November months of the year, where March to May are longer days with many sun-light hours till late afternoon with clear days for excellent views of snow-capped peaks and pleasant walks, can get cloudy with light rains and can snow on higher elevations sometimes.

March to May when hills are alive with seasonal wild-flower in bloom especially rhododendrons of various species from tall trees to the bush, September to November is another best time for clear views of peaks and walks but shorter days and sunlight hours due to autumn or fall season.

Much colder nights and mornings including around shades can snow sometimes around higher hills with more freezing temperatures.

Itinerary

DAY 01

Arrival in Kathmandu via various international airlines and transfer to hotel.

On fresh arrival at Kathmandu and Nepal international airport received by staff and guide with short transfer into the heart of Kathmandu city around exciting areas at Thamel where your hotels situated, here our guide will brief about treks and other necessary information regarding your stay and of the treks.

At evening group welcome dinner in a nice authentic Nepalese restaurant with cultural program to give you the glimpse of local culture with music and dance while having your dinner.

DAY 02

In Kathmandu with sightseeing tour at places of interest and world heritage sites

A free day in Kathmandu after breakfast join in our exciting and interesting sightseeing tour led by our expert city guide to show you the historical wonders of Nepal within world heritage sites, after a great and enjoyable tour with time for trek preparations.
DAY 03

Drive to Syange 1,140 m via Besisar 800 m - 06 hrs.

Morning travel overland journey takes you on scenic, exciting highway on Kathmandu and Pokhara main road following Trisuli River, and then route diverts to reach around low warm farm areas of Lamjung district at Besisar main town of the area.

From Besisar drive for few hours to Syange village located next to Marysangdi River with views of waterfalls transfer to a nice simple lodge for overnight stop.

DAY 04

Trek to Dharapani 1,920 m - 06 hrs.

Starting first morning walk with climb for few hours to reach at Jagat a nice hill village within farm area and views of cascading waterfalls, walk continues on winding ups to Chamje and at Tal villages to reach at Dharapani village where Manang district starts.

After refreshing stop at Tal continue walk to reach much cooler area at Dharapani for overnight halt, Dharapani a nice large village on the junction of Annapurna and Manaslu route

DAY 05

Trek to Chame 2,670 m - 05 hrs.

After breakfast walk leads with climb to Timang village past Bagarchap and Dhanaque villages as route leads into nice cool alpine tree lines to Timang village facing views of Manaslu-Lamjung and Annapurna peak.

From Timang few hours walk to Chame for overnight stop in a nice lodge, Chame headquarter town of Manang district.

DAY 06

Trek to Pisang 3, 230 m - 05 hrs.

Morning with hearty breakfast at Chame walk to Pisang village of 5 hrs journey, as walk leads into nice alpine forest of pines and rhododendron tree lines with uphill and downhill to Pisang.

Reaching Pisang village transfer to nice lodge, where Manang valley begins from here with views of Annapurna-Pisang and Chulu peaks.

DAY 07

Trek to Manang Village 3,450 m - 05 hrs.

Morning walk within tall coniferous tree lines of rhododendron and pines where climb leads to a scenic ridge with views of Manang valley and high peaks of Annapurna and Chulus then descend to a flat valley at Hongde a village with small airstrip with views of peaks then reach at Braga village and visit its old interesting Braga Buddhist monastery with grand views of mountain range on both side of the trail as walk brings you at Manang village from Braga, overnight in main Manang village with possible lunch at Braga or at Manang
DAY 08

Rest day at Manang for local hikes and acclimatization.

Rest day for acclimatization in lovely Manang village, free day to explore traditional villages of

Manang of Buddhist culture and take a short hike to a hill for close views of Gangapurna and
Annapurna III glacier, afternoon rest and relax marveling views of Annapurna and Chulus peaks.

DAY 09

Trek to Yak Kharka 4,110 m - 04 hrs.

Short day walk of 3-4 hrs to Yak Kharka with slow climb with mountain views, on reaching at

Yak-Kharka, a large yak grazing field with nice lodge to stay facing wonderful mountain views of
Gangapurna, Annapurna II with Tilicho peaks, lunch and overnight at Yak Kharka with short
walks around for acclimatization

DAY 10

Trek to Thorang High Camp 4,600 m - 04 hrs.

A short day but walking on higher altitude to Thorang High Camp of few hours, walks starts

after nice breakfast then cross a stream with short climb to reach at Thorang Phedi, from
Thorang Phedi an hour climb up to Thorang High Camp for lunch and overnight stop in a simple
but nice and cozy lodge.

DAY 11

Cross Thorang-La 5,416 m and to Muktinath 3,800 m - 06 hrs.

Walk starts early morning after breakfast with winding up to reach Thorang-la pass, after

few hours climb then at the top of the pass and on the highest point of the adventure with
glorious panorama of mountain views, from Thorang-la downhill to holy Muktinath after
5-6 hrs long day walks to Muktinath and transfer into a nice lodge

Afternoon visit Muktinath temple of great importance to Hindu and for Buddhist followers

DAY 12

Drive to Tatopani 1,050 m via Marpha -Ghasa villages- 05 hrs.

From Muktinath due to motorable road, morning board in a jeep for few hours

drive to reach at Tatopani village, drive leads through scenic Kaligandaki River valley past
Jomsom town, as journey leads into world deepest gorge of Kaligandaki near Lete and Ghasa
Villages, then reaching at Tatopani village for overnight stop a place with natural hot-spring

DAY 13

Trek to Ghorepani 2,750 m - 06 hrs.

Morning trek continues from Tatopani to reach high Ghorepani village, where climb lead past

Sikha and Chitre to reach at Ghorepani village with grand views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna
Peaks, at Ghorepani transfer into nice lodge located with beautiful rhododendron forest

DAY 14

Hike to Poon Hill and trek to Tirkhedhunga 1,470m -05 hrs.

Early morning hike to Poon Hill for stunning sunrise views over range of Himalayan peaks on top

Poon Hill enjoy super sunrise views over chain of mountain with Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri’s, Annapurna
and Manaslu with majestic peak of Machhapuchare the Fish Tail, then descend to Ghorepani
for breakfast, and continue walk within lovely cool forest to reach at Ulleri village after 2-3 hrs
walks for possible lunch stop. From Ulleri downhill to Tirkhedhunga village within low warm
farm land and transfer to lodge after few hours downhill from Ulleri village with views of
cascading waterfalls.

DAY 15

Trek to Nayapul 1,900 - 06 hrs and drive to Pokhara - 04 hrs walk 2 hrs drive.

Morning starts with slow downhill for an hour to reach at the bottom of a hill reaching close to Modi River at Bhirethati village where our adventurous trek ends with few hour drives to scenic Pokhara city then transfer into respective hotels by the lake for overnight stop in this lovely scenic place.
DAY 16

Drive of fly back to Kathmandu.

Morning drive back to Kathmandu after a wonderful and memorable trip on high hills of Annapurna Himalaya and on reaching Kathmandu transfer to respective hotels with afternoon free for own individual activities with farewell dinner.

(Flying option from Pokhara to Kathmandu of 30 minutes scenic flight)

DAY 17

International departure for homeward bound.

Last day in Nepal a country of high Himalaya with colorful culture, our guide and staff transfer you to the airport for your international flight homeward, after a grand memories and experience on Annapurna Circuit Trekking.
